Frank is a certified registered nurse anesthetist in addition to his work with the congenital heart defect community. He illustrated Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome: A Handbook for Parents and drew the heart diagrams in The Heart of a Mother. His master’s thesis was Anesthetic Management of Pediatric Patients with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome for Non-Cardiac Surgery.
